Technical planning and system integration of battery storage systems

Locations: Bremen or Emden/Krummhörn

BESSr GmbH develops and delivers modern Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for industrial companies, commercial customers and project developers. As a distributor, EPC partner and system integrator, we support projects from the technical concept through engineering and procurement to commissioning and long-term operation.

Our focus is on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and utility scale battery storage. Together with international technology partners, we develop intelligent energy systems made up of battery storage, medium-voltage equipment, EMS, SCADA and communication systems as well as operation and maintenance solutions.

As a Project Engineer you support projects from the concept through to commissioning and develop intelligent energy systems together with project management, suppliers, customers and our international engineering team.

• Planning and design of C&I and utility scale BESS projects
• Developing system concepts for BESS, PCS, transformer, medium voltage and BoP
• Integrating EMS, SCADA and communication systems
• Supporting direct marketing and O&M concepts
• Technical coordination with customers, suppliers and grid operators
• Working with international teams and partner companies
• Supporting FAT, SAT and commissioning
• Further developing technical standards

• A degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or comparable
• An interest in battery storage systems
• Strong communication skills
• Very good German (C2) and good English
• Willingness to travel

You do not have to be a battery storage expert already. Technical understanding, initiative and the willingness to work your way into new topics matter far more. We will develop the rest together.
